Inauguration of the bust of Dénes Györgyi in the Pantheon

The bust of the architect, Dénes Györgyi (1886-1961) crafted from Carrara marble by János Béres was unveiled under the auspices of the Almadi P-Art Foundation. The ceremonial unveiling took place in the Pantheon in Balatonalmádi on September 17, 2023. The event commenced with a program by students from the Györgyi Dénes Primary School, followed by a speech delivered by László L. Simon, the Director General of the Hungarian National Museum.

The life and works of Dénes Györgyi were presented by art historian Fanni Izabella Magyaróvári. Descendants of Dénes Györgyi also participated in the statue’s inauguration.
