Hubert Verbruggen is a Belgian sculptor. He graduated from the Etterbeck Academy’s sculptor’s studio in 1990 with Master Marie-Paule Haar as his master. He perfected his metalworking technique at the University of Applied Arts in Brussels. He has appeared in numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1985, and his works can be found in private and public collections, in addition to his homeland in Canada, the USA, Spain and France. In connection with his works, he deliberately puts on any rational explanation, deliberately warns of the sensitivity of clean lines, simple forms, force. He draws attention to the fact that beauty does not have a practical existence, for him the most important thing is the emotion that exists between the artist and those who want to share in stopping the moment.
