The artist

Etelka Meixner-Hegyi

Etelka Meixner was born in Siófok in 1978 and graduated at the Hungarian University of Applied Arts in 2002. She was the student of Imre Schrammel. The beginning of her career is related to the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, where she wrote her diploma thesis and later started working.

Etelka started her own business, Ecce Home in 2015.

Several new figures, ornaments, and a number of traditional redecorations are associated with her name. A large-scale porcelain sculpture (“Tree of Life”) can be seen in Veszprém, in the middle of the roundabout next to the sports arena.
