Major Janka graduated at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2012 with a degree in sculpture. She draws inspiration from antique culture and the Bible. Her most recent project was to create a series of sculptures in which she formed biblical figures from a unique, personal, contemporary point of view. During the creation, she sought models from her environment for her defining parable, whose individuality and characteristics she found appropriate. So these sculptures are portraits as well. She works mainly with wood, but her sculptures are also made of stone and bronze.
