The artist

János Béres

He was born in 1954 in Budapest. He studied privately. He has been a member of the National Association of Hungarian Artists since 1985. He took part in study trips organized by the Hungarian Cultural Institute in Florence, Rome, Naples, Siena, Padua, Pisa, Milan, Verona and Paris.

He lives in Zalaegerszeg and has a creative house in Szentgyörgyvölgy, Őrség. He works of stone and bronze. He lives by public sculpture.

He has participated in group exhibitions with artists from Zala County in Finland, Slovenia, Poland and Austria. He is a regular exhibitor in Hungary.
