The artist

Péter Szabolcs

He was born in Diósgyőr in 1942. His masters at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts were József Somogyi and Iván Szabó. After completing his studies, he settled in Zalaegerszeg. His work has been awarded several prizes, including the Munkácsy Mihály Prize (1984) and the Zala County Prima Prize (2017) stand out. More than 40 public works are associated with his name.
