László Lovas: Irredenta memorial
(1928, St. Elizabeth's Park)
The monument is located in St. Elizabeth’s Park, in front of the “Bridge of Sighs”. It is made of red sandstone and white marble. The statue was inaugurated in 1928, and the plaque was placed on it in 1949.
Subtitle: “Hungarian! Remember our glorious grandparents who fought for the freedom of our nation in 1848-49. 1848-1948.”
