He was born in 1959 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and then settled in Austria in 1989. He lives and works in Pöchlarn with his painter’s wife, Ping Frederiks from the Netherlands.
He studied art in Plovdiv, has been a member of the Plovdiv Artists’ Association since 1980. He has been admitted to the Austrian Artists’ Association since 2002. In 2006. He founded, organized and managed the annual international symposium “Atelier an der Donau”. There are many public sculptures in Austria, and his works can be found in public collections in several European countries.
In 2011, the city of Pöchlarn awarded the Art and Culture Prize in recognition of its work.
