The artist

Virpi Kanto

Finnish sculptor, born in 1959. She lives and works in Orimattila. She studied fine arts at the Kankaanpää School of Art from 1985 to 1988. Since completing her university years, she has participated in more than 18 solo and about 50 group exhibitions in Finland. Virpi Kanto’s works are in the collections of Finnish cities, art museums and private actors.
